Click the (b)(2) Options button.

The top portion of the window has the (b)(2) options. These are designed to make it easier to decide what items must be included on the label. The first option is Show if Required. Selecting this will show any nutrient that must appear on the label. The next option will display any nutrient that has an amount that would not be labeled as a zero amount. The last two options will either force all nutrients to be displayed or not display any nutrients.

In this next example, we will learn how to individually pick the nutrients to display on the label.
Click the (b)(2) Options button in the spreadsheet if the (b)(2) Dietary Ingredient Options window is not open.
Set the (b)(2) option to Show None and click the Reset button. Answer Yes when prompted.
Next, we are going to decide which nutrients to display on the Supplement Facts label. Displaying zero amounts is not allowed on the Supplement Facts label. However, it is possible to do so if a client demands the amount be displayed.

A user can determine which nutrients are displayed in the Supplement Facts. The expanded dropdown below shows the options.
N – do not display the nutrient.
Y – display the nutrient even if the amount is zero.
Y if > 0 – display the nutrient if the amount is greater than zero.
To display the daily value for Protein, you must enter a value for PDCAAS and click the Set button.
Double Clicking an Item to Change the Include Setting
If you select an item and double click it. The include setting will cycle to the next option. For example, if you select Vitamin A and the include setting is Y, double clicking it will set it to N.
