Important Notice
Owl Software is no longer distributing on-premises versions of TechWizard. The term on-premises refers to installing and running the application directly on a user’s device. TechWizard is now a browser-based application, meaning users no longer need a Windows computer or Microsoft Office. Any device with internet access and a keyboard can run the application.
For over 20 years, Owl Software has provided TechWizard free of charge to academic institutions. Moving forward, we remain committed to supporting education; however, there are costs associated with maintaining TechWizard Online™. As a result, academic users will now pay a small subscription fee.

Requirements to Receive an Academic Subscription
Academic pricing is available only to verified students, educators, and staff affiliated with accredited educational institutions.
Eligibility Requirements:
• The user must be currently enrolled in or employed by an accredited college, university, or recognized secondary educational institution.
• The user must register with a valid institutional email address (e.g., ending in .edu or an equivalent domain recognized by the institution).
• The software must be used solely for educational or research purposes, not for commercial production, consulting, or fee-for-service work.
• Proof of enrollment or employment may be required annually (e.g., student ID, faculty ID, or registrar verification).
• Subscriptions obtained under academic pricing are non-transferable and may not be shared.
• Owl Software reserves the right to impose additional eligibility restrictions or verification requirements at its discretion.
